PATTERN/ PAIRING:
The AAF (Army Airforce) OD-41 watch strap features a classic deep Olive Drab exterior with a neutral grey stitching, underliner and reinforced hole settings. First formulated in 1940, Olive Drab #41 was established as an updated joint Army-Navy Aeronautical Board (ANA) standard for a darker olive tone for use on vehicles and aircraft. A quintessential mid war military green, in combination with neutral grey makes for a historically strong pairing with Pilot and Field pieces as well as with monotone dial designs.
LAYOUT:A 2 piece layout specially tailored to accommodate a wide range of wearer wrist, and case lug-to-lug sizes. Equipped with vintage aviation features including a distinctive 6mm engraved rivet, bead blasted aviator roller buckle and a sightly tapered profile leading from a 20mm start to a 18mm buckle.
INSTALLATION
Outfitted with quick detach springbars for fast and simple installation.
